R. Todd Smith is the President, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Lexington Hotel Group, a vertically integrated hotel development, investment and management company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Smith formed Lexington Hotel Group (formerly known as Lexington Management Corp.) in 1995 in connection with the acquisition and repositioning of a single distressed hotel in Dayton, Ohio. Since then, Mr. Smith has led the Lexington Hotel Group team in connection with developing and opening hotels valued at over $150 million. Mr. Smith is closely involved in all phases of developing, financing and managing each of Lexington Hotel Group’s hotels and is responsible for developing and executing on the strategic vision to create and maximize the value of each hotel.
Mr. Smith received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Dayton School of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Miami University. Mr. Smith is active in the local business community through his participation with Aileron and the Goering Center.
Mary Cole is the Director of Operations of Lexington Hotel Group where she oversees hotel operations at each of Lexington Hotel Group’s properties. Ms. Cole works closely with the general manager of each hotel to implement new initiatives, execute key strategies and deliver an unparalleled guest experience. Prior to joining Lexington Hotel Group in 2009, Ms. Cole was an Audit Manager at Clark, Schaefer, Hackett & Co. and the Controller for a national government software contractor. Ms. Cole received her Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting and Finance from Miami University.
Colin T. Smith is the Executive Vice President of Lexington Hotel Group where he focuses on new developments as well as Lexington Hotel Group’s capital raising efforts. Prior to joining Lexington Hotel Group, Mr. Smith was an associate at Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease, LLC and Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP, where his practice focused on commercial real estate development, private equity and private mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Smith received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his Bachelor’s Degree magna cum laude in Economics from George Washington University.
